TDR Transport Services Ltd driving staff recently swapped accelerator, brake and clutch pedals for bicycle pedals as they embarked on a Safe Urban Driving (SUD) training course.
The course focused on the awareness and appreciation of vulnerable road users, primarily cyclists.
The course counts towards on-going Driver CPC retention, as well as providing evidence and commitment to FORS silver, CLOCS and Crossrail accreditations.
Commenting on the training, TDR Transport Services Ltd director Richard Rollinson said, ‘TDR continue to invest in the training of our much valued and dedicated driving team. Training is beneficial to our business, but also demonstrates the social responsibility that we strongly believe in. By its very nature, our industry is not always seen in a positive way by the general public and this training highlights our moral commitment to all vulnerable road users and in particular those that share the roads, namely cyclists’.
TDR Transport Services Ltd……… Committed to safety.
