To assist with abnormal load movements, TDR operate our own private escort vehicles. These vehicles are fully compliant with the guidelines set out by Highways England (Highways Agency Code of Practice).

All of TDR’s escort vehicles are compliantly equipped with signage, light bars, two-way radio systems and emergency safety equipment to ensure the safe and smooth transport of abnormal loads. Our drivers are fully trained and highly experienced, using the latest vehicles equipped with living quarters that allow the escort vehicle to stay with the load for the duration of the journey.
